We help households turn balconies, rooftops, and small plots into productive kitchen gardens using sack and vertical growing methods suited to Nairobi's tight urban spaces.
Water & Climate-Smart Farming
Rainwater harvesting, drip irrigation, and mulching training so members can keep growing through the dry months without relying on costly piped water.
Income-Generating Activities
Poultry keeping, beekeeping, and value addition to diversify household income beyond a single crop.
Table Banking & Savings
Member-run savings and merry-go-round groups that give farmers access to small loans for seed, tools, and inputs without predatory interest rates.
Seed Banks & Soil Health
Community seed exchange to preserve indigenous, drought-tolerant varieties, plus composting training to rebuild soil fertility.
Youth & School Nutrition Gardens
Partnering with local primary schools to build nutrition gardens and introduce agriculture as a viable, modern livelihood to young people.
